Privacy Notice

Version 2026-10-04-v2 · Last updated 4 October 2026

Clickneeth is a personal photography portfolio run by Shankar Praneeth (“I”, “me”), who decides why and how your personal data is handled here (the “Data Fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — the “DPDP Act”). This notice explains it in plain language.

What I collect

DataWhy
Your nameTo address you personally and know who is visiting.
Your email addressTo send you a one-time verification code, confirm the address is real, and keep a record of who has visited.
Time of verification and the consent you gave (with this notice’s version)To keep a record that you consented, as the law requires.

I collect only the data above. I do not collect your phone number, location, payment details, or any sensitive data, and I do not build profiles or show ads.

Why I collect it (purpose)

I will not use your data for any other purpose, and I will not sell it or send you marketing emails.

Your consent

I ask for your consent through an unticked checkbox on the entry page. It is free, specific to the purposes above, and you can say no — you just won’t be able to enter the gallery. You must be 18 or older to give it; if you are younger, please ask a parent or guardian to view the site instead.

Where your data goes

Your name and email are not shared with anyone else, except if the law or a court requires it.

Cookies

Clickneeth sets no cookies of its own. I use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing that follows you around the web. Because there are no optional cookies, there is no cookie banner and nothing to switch on or off.

Two things work behind the scenes and are outside my control: the services listed above (for example Cloudflare’s bot check on the entry page, Google Fonts, and the hosting provider) may use strictly necessary technical storage of their own to do their job. I don’t receive or use any of it. If you prefer, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

What stays in your browser

After you verify, a small record (your name, email and the time) is saved in your browser’s local storage so you aren’t asked again. It is not a tracking cookie and is never sent anywhere automatically. You can remove it at any time:

How long I keep it

I keep your name and email until you ask me to delete them, or for up to 2 years after your last visit, whichever comes first. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes and are never stored in readable form.

How I protect it

Your details sit in a private, access-controlled Google Sheet. Entries are sanitised, verification codes are hashed and limited to a few attempts, and a bot check guards the entry form. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data ever occurs, I will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

To use any right, email me from the address you registered with. I aim to respond within 7 days.
